How it works

How do we get you the best outdoor sauna offer?

  1. Send us the garden

Where the outdoor sauna would stand, shade or sun, how many people, the community, the emirate and your budget. One WhatsApp message is enough.

  2. We reply within 5 minutes

We ask what decides the price, the shape, the heater and the cable run, then put your job to suppliers who deliver and install garden saunas.

  3. Suppliers compete for your job

Their offers come back to you in one place, and we tell you which one is the best deal and why.

  4. You choose, or you say no

You buy directly from the supplier you pick, at their price, with nothing added by us. You are never obliged to buy.

The prices

Outdoor sauna Dubai: what should you pay?

A garden sauna in the UAE has to cope with heat, not snow. DEWA designs electrical installations in Dubai for 48°C in the shade, and the National Centre of Meteorology's highest August reading at Dubai airport is 48.8°C. Tell us where the cabin would stand and we get you offers on a cube, barrel or cabin built for that, with shade, outdoor-rated electrics and the community approval raised before you pay.

How much does an outdoor sauna cost in the UAE?

A prefab outdoor sauna costs AED 22,399 to AED 36,500 in the UAE. AED 22,399 buys a three-to-four-person outdoor infrared cabin; stove-heated cubes start at AED 22,500, Harvia-heated barrel and arc saunas are AED 32,000, and a four-person hemlock cabin tops the band. A bespoke outdoor pavilion starts near AED 200,000. Send us your budget and we get you offers inside it. The sauna prices page sets these beside indoor cabins.

Which outdoor sauna fits your budget?

Pick the shape you like and send it to us with a photo of the spot. We come back within 5 minutes and get you offers on it from suppliers who deliver and install garden saunas.

Two terms matter as much as the price. Delivery and installation are often inside it, and the wait can run to four weeks, so every offer we bring you states both. A stove-heated outdoor cabin also needs a dedicated cable run by a qualified electrician, a separate job from the cabin itself, and we ask each supplier whether their price covers it.

Where should an outdoor sauna sit in a Dubai garden?

In shade, with its controls protected, and we ask every supplier how their cabin copes with a UAE summer. The National Centre of Meteorology's averages for Dubai airport give a mean daily maximum of 41.5°C in August and a mean daily minimum of 30.9°C; on the coast at Jumeirah the mean August minimum is 32.8°C. In full sun, the cabin shell, its control panel and its wiring sit in that heat all summer.

  • Shade first. A covered terrace, the north side of the villa or a pergola keeps the shell and the controls out of direct sun.
  • Outdoor-rated accessories. DEWA requires IP55 weather-protected sockets and switches outdoors.
  • Control gear outside the cabin. DEWA Regulation 4.6.5 puts the sauna on its own final sub-circuit from the distribution board, with the control gear outside the sauna and 30 mA protection on the heater circuit.
  • Northern Emirates. Etihad Water and Electricity designs for 50°C in the shade, two degrees above DEWA's figure, and bans sockets inside a sauna room.

Approvals we raise for a garden sauna

Assume one is needed. Dubai Holding Community Management's 2026 rules require an application before anything is installed on a plot, structural or not, internal or external; nothing may be attached to the exterior of a unit or plot without its approval; and approved works must not exceed the plot's electrical load capacity. Emaar requires approval for any villa alteration, with a 2022 schedule of AED 500 for review, AED 1,000 for a minor-works NOC and AED 2,000 for major works.

Neither publishes a rule that names a freestanding sauna cabin, so we ask the community in writing before a delivery date is set. One piece of history explains why: Nakheel's 2022 and 2023 villa design codes listed standalone enclosed structures as not permitted, and those codes were withdrawn when Dubai Holding Community Management took over, without a replacement rule on saunas.

Can an outdoor sauna be installed in summer?

Yes, with the hours planned around the law. The UAE's midday break bans outdoor work in the sun from 12:30 to 15:00 every day between 15 June and 15 September, so a garden install in those months runs in the morning and late afternoon. Electrical work inside the villa is not affected, and we plan the delivery date with the supplier around it.

Sauna, plunge and hot tub in one garden

An outdoor sauna is often the first half of a garden set, with a cold plunge beside it, and one message gets you offers on both; contrast therapy covers that layout and the order of use. Water changes the approvals. Dubai Municipality's private pool guideline treats hot tubs, spas and any bathing structure that holds 300 mm of water as a swimming pool, registered before installation and fenced with a permanent enclosure. That plainly covers a hot tub. Cold plunge tubs are not named; the wording appears to cover them and we confirm per job. Chillers and plunge prices are on the cold plunge Dubai page, and the full table across every product is the price list.

Running costs are modest. As a worked example at DEWA's October 2026 rates, a 6 kW heater at full output for one hour costs AED 1.83 to AED 2.77 and a 9 kW heater AED 2.74 to AED 4.16, fuel surcharge and VAT included. For indoor cabins, see home saunas; for a garden plunge next to the sauna, our plunge offers start from the same WhatsApp message.

Questions

What buyers ask about outdoor saunas

Is it really free?
Yes. You pay nothing to us, ever. The supplier you buy from pays us a commission when the sale closes, and you pay the supplier's own price with nothing added by us.
How fast do you reply?
Within 5 minutes. Send us where the sauna would stand, shade or sun, how many people, the community, the emirate and your budget, and we come straight back with the questions that decide the price.
Why not call the sauna shops myself?
You can. We save you the calls and the guesswork: one message, offers from suppliers who compete for your job, and our view on which is the best deal, based on what outdoor saunas sell for in the UAE. Our sauna prices show the bands we hold every offer against.
How much does an outdoor sauna cost in Dubai?
From AED 22,399 for a three-to-four-person outdoor infrared cabin and AED 22,500 for a stove-heated cube, up to AED 36,500 for a four-person cabin. Barrel and arc saunas with Harvia heaters are AED 32,000. These are UAE prices from October 2026, and we get you offers inside your budget.
Can an outdoor sauna stand in full sun?
We advise against it. DEWA designs Dubai's electrical installations for 48°C in the shade, and Dubai airport's mean August maximum is 41.5°C. Shade keeps the shell, the control gear and the wiring out of the worst of it.
Does an outdoor sauna need its own circuit?
A stove sauna does. DEWA requires a separate final sub-circuit from the distribution board, control gear outside the sauna and 30 mA protection on heater circuits, with IP55 sockets and switches outdoors. A qualified electrician runs the dedicated cable.
Do I need community approval?
In most managed communities, yes. Dubai Holding Community Management requires an application before any installation on a plot, and Emaar requires approval for any villa alteration. Neither names saunas specifically, so we get the answer in writing before delivery.
Can I put a sauna on a roof terrace?
Sometimes. Dubai Holding Community Management's rules name rooftop pools and jacuzzis as needing prior approval and require approval for any installation on a plot or unit. The roof's load and access decide the rest, which an installer confirms on site.
What does an outdoor sauna cost to run?
As a worked example at DEWA's October 2026 rates, a 6 kW heater at full output costs AED 1.83 to AED 2.77 an hour and a 9 kW heater AED 2.74 to AED 4.16, with the fuel surcharge and VAT included. It is an example from the rated power, not a bill.
Who should check with a doctor before using a sauna?
Harvard Health says people with unstable chest pain (angina), poorly controlled high blood pressure or other serious heart issues should avoid saunas, advises 15 to 20 minutes at most and no alcohol before or after. NHS guidance on pregnancy notes you may choose to avoid saunas because of the risks of overheating, dehydration and fainting. With Raynaud's, and a plunge after the sauna, the NHS advises avoiding sudden changes in temperature.
