Sauna offers in 5 minutes
Tell us the room and your budget on WhatsApp. We reply within 5 minutes and get you offers from UAE sauna suppliers who compete for your job. Free for you, no obligation.
How it works
Floor area, ceiling height, villa or apartment, the emirate and your budget for the home sauna. One WhatsApp message is enough.
We ask what decides the price, the heater size and the wiring, then put your job to suppliers who sell and install that kind of sauna.
Their offers come back to you in one place, and we tell you which one is the best deal and why.
You buy directly from the supplier you pick, at their price, with nothing added by us. You are never obliged to buy.
The prices
A home sauna is one of the easiest upgrades for a UAE villa or apartment, and one of the easiest to overpay for. Send us the room and we get you offers on the right cabin, with the heater sized and the wiring sorted before you commit.
How much does a home sauna cost in the UAE?
A prefab indoor home sauna costs AED 13,999 to AED 35,500 in the UAE. AED 13,999 is the lowest published price for a two-person infrared cabin and AED 16,950 the lowest for a traditional cabin with a Harvia heater; a five-person corner cabin tops the band. A sauna built to the size of a room starts near AED 45,000. Send us your room and budget and we get you offers inside it. The sauna cost page breaks every band down by size.
Pick the row that matches your room and send it to us. We come back within 5 minutes and get you offers on that exact type from suppliers who install it.
| Type and size | Lowest, AED | Typical, AED |
|---|---|---|
| Infrared cabin, 1 person | 14,950 | 14,950 to 15,000 |
| Infrared cabin, 2 person | 13,999 | 14,499 to 17,950 |
| Infrared cabin, 3 person | 16,499 | 18,499 to 18,950 |
| Infrared cabin, 4 to 5 person | 18,499 | 22,399 to 25,500 |
| Traditional cabin with stove heater | 16,950 | 21,000 to 25,500 |
| Outdoor cabin or barrel | 22,399 | 23,500 to 32,500 |
Delivery and installation are usually inside the price, and we ask every supplier to confirm it in the offer. A 4.5 to 9 kW heater bought alone costs AED 1,304 to AED 4,500, which matters only if you are building the room yourself; a garden cabin has its own page on outdoor saunas.
We size this for you, but the rule is simple. A stove heater is sized to the room's volume in cubic metres, not to the number of people on the bench. Harvia's spec sheets for its Vega range give 4.5 kW for a room of 3 to 6 m³, 6 kW for 5 to 8 m³ and 9 kW for 8 to 14 m³. One published three-to-four-person indoor cabin measures 1.8 by 1.5 by 2.0 metres, or 5.4 m³, which sits inside both of the two smaller ranges. Another four-person cabin is sold with a 6 kW heater as standard.
| Heater | Room volume | Fuse at 230 V single phase | Fuse at 400 V three phase |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4.5 kW, Vega BC45 | 3 to 6 m³ | 1 x 20 A | 3 x 10 A |
| 6 kW, Vega BC60 | 5 to 8 m³ | 1 x 35 A | 3 x 10 A |
| 9 kW, Vega BC90 | 8 to 14 m³ | 1 x 50 A | 3 x 16 A |
Height counts too. The BC60 datasheet asks for a room at least 1,900 mm high and 1,100 mm of clear space above the heater. An apartment with a dropped gypsum ceiling can fail that before any price is discussed, so we ask for the ceiling height with the floor area.
This is the part most buyers do not see coming, and we raise it with every supplier before you get an offer. DEWA's Regulations for Electrical Installations (2017 edition) are specific about saunas. Regulation 4.6.5 puts every sauna on a separate final sub-circuit from the distribution board, places the control gear outside the sauna cabin, and protects every heater circuit with a 30 mA RCCB or ELCB. At 230 V a 6 kW heater draws about 26 A and a 9 kW heater about 39 A, which is why Harvia also lists a three-phase connection for every heater in the range. Regulation 1.14 adds that no alteration to an installation is made without DEWA's prior approval, and an added-load application is filed online by a DEWA-enrolled consultant or contractor.
Indoors, almost anywhere dry. Harvia's guidance for its infrared cabins is a dry indoor room with at least 5 cm of space around the cabin and no humid or wet areas, so a spare bedroom or a gym room works and a bathroom does not. A stove cabin needs the heater's clearances and a ceiling high enough to clear them. Outdoors is a different product, built for a garden where the highest August reading at Dubai airport, per the National Centre of Meteorology, is 48.8°C.
Communities have a say even indoors. Dubai Holding Community Management's 2026 rules ask owners to apply for approval before installing anything on a plot or in a unit, structural or not, internal or external. Emaar requires its approval for any alteration to a villa, and a sauna is not on its published no-NOC list. In a tower, running a new circuit back to the board is the hard part, which is why we usually get apartment owners offers on an infrared cabin.
Infrared cabins start cheaper, plug in, and run at lower air temperatures; Harvia lists 20 to 70°C for one of its cabins. A traditional cabin gives you the hot air and the steam from water on the stones, at the cost of a dedicated circuit. The full side-by-side is on infrared vs traditional, and the seven checks to make before you buy are in choosing a sauna. If the room itself is the project, start with custom sauna rooms; if a cold plunge is going next to it, read contrast therapy first and compare all-in-one plunges for the cold half.
Running costs are small next to the purchase. As a worked example at DEWA's October 2026 rates (slab tariff plus a 6 fils fuel surcharge, plus 5% VAT), a 6 kW heater at full output for one hour costs AED 1.83 to AED 2.77, and a two-person infrared cabin drawing 2,105 W costs AED 0.64 to AED 0.97. Both figures assume full power for the whole hour; neither is a measured bill. For prices across the rest of the range, from cold plunges to hot tubs, see the price guide.
